How do I connect my AI accounts?

When Forge opens, select your preferred AI tools and log in with your existing credentials (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.). Your sessions stay completely local on your machine.
What's the difference between Quick Chat and Multi-Pane?

Quick Chat lets you chat with one AI at a time with instant switching between AIs. Multi-Pane lets you compare 2-8 AIs side-by-side with the same question, auto-ranking, and synthesis. Both modes are included in all plans.
Which AI models are included?

Free plans include ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok, Mistral, POE, and more. Paid plans also include premium models like GPT-4, Claude Opus, and Gemini Advanced.
Do I need separate subscriptions to each AI?

You use your existing AI accounts (free or paid). Forge connects to them—it doesn't replace them. If you have ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro, you can use those premium features through Forge.
Can I use Forge offline?

Forge requires an internet connection to communicate with AI services. However, you can view and export previously saved comparisons offline.
Can I try before buying?

Yes! The Starter plan is completely free with unlimited comparisons, all AI models, and 30 syntheses per month. No credit card required.
Can I change plans anytime?

Yes! You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and we'll prorate any charges.
What happens if I exceed my synthesis limit?

You'll be notified when you're approaching your monthly synthesis limit. You can either wait until next month (limits reset on the 1st) or upgrade to a higher tier for more syntheses. Running comparisons is always unlimited and free.
What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers for Team plans. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all paid plans. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund.
Is my data private and secure?

Yes. Your AI sessions stay completely local on your machine. Forge doesn't store, access, or transmit your conversations to our servers. You maintain full control of your data.
What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your saved comparisons remain accessible. You can export them before or after canceling. You can reactivate your account anytime to regain full access.
How does auto-ranking work?

Forge analyzes AI responses based on relevance, depth, accuracy, and clarity. Rankings are generated locally on your machine using our proprietary algorithms. You can always override rankings manually.
Can I customize which AIs appear in my workspace?

Yes. You can show/hide specific AI tools and reorder them to match your preferences. Your custom layout is saved automatically.
